who wore what?!

Hi friends!
I'm currently writing this from the confines of my bed. Since the school year started I've been out more nights than in, and it's finally caught up with me - I'm SO sick. My mum came to my flat to nurse me back to health, and Daddy just stopped in with my puppy, Bella, for a visit and brought me chocolate peanut butter ice cream, my very favourite. Needless to say I feel very loved and on the mend.

My friend and I both laughed when we saw THIS post on WhoWhatWear on Sunday. The night before, I was out at the Ford Supermodel of the World finale wearing a veryyy similar look. I went with my friend Kenneth, a male model who is signed with Ford and had some fabulous makeup done by NARS. The eye makeup was SO dramatic and fabulous, but I took most of it off before remembering to take outfit snapshots, which I seriously regret! I'm wearing an Erin Wasson x RVCA dress and my trusty Sam Edelman's. I highly recommend the dress to anyone hoping to get in on the crushed velvet trend, but beware - it's super short!xx EV

Sol Bellow Byron

I was lucky enough to attend a lovely little soiree on the weekend to welcome Sol Bellow to a cute store named The End Collective in Byron Bay.

We saw the night in with a few bubbles, a few giggles and for those of us with a sweet tooth, a chocolate covered strawberry or ten!

Of course we perused the beautiful swimwear range as well...

I feel half brain dead as I write this, so I'll keep it short. Last night Dani and I went to watch some cute band boys play a show. I've had multiple people tell me that I'm not allowed to wear slips in public, but I still feel the need to channel my inner Courtney Love.

Luke Taaffe is a favourite of mine. Hailing from Wamberal on the NSW coast, Luke's works are a collaboration of his love of art and the ocean. Lines, lots of lines, texture of different surfaces like wood and butchers paper and his signature petaled cirlces...a few elements that set Luke apart.

His beautiful website is worth a quick squiz and if your ever around Byron Bay pop into Retrospect galleries, they have his work permanently displayed.

I little treat for those of us who weren't so blessed in the chest department!

The composition of these photographs is stunning...I love the use of something straw in every image, it gives such great texture, an element often missed in photography.

The expressions on the model's faces are priceless...the one with the sunnies......LOvE !

I found them on my never ending search for the perfect keenie.....but I'm so sad because I don't know who the photographer is. I would love to know because they deserve credit and we'd all like to see more of their work. If anyone knows please, please leave a comment.
