Hello Loves,
I am sitting with my laptop half asleep as a write this, jet lag is killing me! My week in London was absolutely fabulous, I had the greatest time! Due to wonky hotel internet, I wasn't able to do any blogging, but I tried to keep everyone updated via twitter. The shopping was SO good to me in London. Seriously HUGE thank you's to everyone who recommended shopping areas to me, I scored the most incredible finds.. Camden and Portobello markets were a definite highlight, as well as the obvious Harrods, Joseph and, the holy grail of high street, Topshop. I can't wait to post some of the pieces I picked up.

I fell in total lust with these shoes after seeing them on the incredibly fashionable Shini at Park & Cube. To my absolute delight, I found them on sale for 30 pounds at a location off Bond St, they are definitely one of my favourite buys of the week! They're so comfortable, the only time I had trouble was on all that cobblestone... eek!

Hey Loves!

I wanted to do one more post before I fly off to London. I really want to thank everyone SO SO much for the recommendations of places to go, I've been writing them all down and I can't wait to visit ! I'm especially excited for Portobello and Camden Markets. I love vintage, jewellery and trinkets so they sound like they're right up my alley!

I've been having lots of trouble getting myself motivated to pack. I always end up drinking wine to make it go a little easier and end up packing the silliest things. Twenty variations of the same white t-shirt? It seemed like a good idea at the time... Once I came home from university with nothing but bras, sparkly leggings and workman socks.

Wearing a vintage shirt and Wilfox couture dress! I received this in the mail the other week, and though it's not as long as I'd like, I really love it.
Also, I've gotten lots of emails about whether or not I have Twitter. I posted it a while ago but you can go here to follow me!
I'm off to watch Oprah then out to a bon voyage dinner, have a lovely week, I'll try to update from England if I can.

p.s. why does THIS have to be sold out?? Does anyone know if there is anywhere else I can buy it?

welcome to the jungle

Today I walked around the campus of University of Toronto to get myself prepared for next year. The grounds are gorgeous, and my college, St. Michael's, has the most beautiful chapels and archways all over.
I got a major haul from Value Village on Sunday. Picked up lots of gorgeous silk dresses, some cool crop tops and this skirt - can you tell that I'm a sucker for anything leopard print? Some of the dresses are going to take some altering to turn them into minis but I can't wait to show you some of the stuff!
Anyways, I'm off to bed! This will be my first time going to bed before 2 am in over 5 days.

Hey Loves!

As I write this I'm watching The Godfather with my family. I can't believe I've never seen this movie before, its incredible.

I picked up this Complex Geometries dress while in Montreal a few weeks ago at the most amazing store called Reborn. They have an online shop too, but if you're ever in Montreal I highly recommend stopping by. On top of being super chic, the sales staff were lovely and helpful, I can't say enough good things about my trip there.
Also, if you weren't convinced that I was a vampire before, these pictures are proof. I apologize for the blinding whiteness that is my skin.

I've gotten some requests to see more of my puppy Bella, so here she is: She's such a supermodel! This weekend will be a busy one for me. It's girls night out on Friday, hopefully I'll get some pictures because we've got quite the evening planned.
